"The Basics of Digital Video Editing using Windows Movie Maker: >From Tape to DVD in 60 minutes" by Barry Macdonald
Barry moved into the Hendersonville area in 1997 to complete a Masters in Accounting degree
Barry has been “fiddling” with computers since a neighbor showed him a Commodore 64 when he was 10 years old. However, recent inspiration came about upon the birth of his first daughter, Rachel. Enthralled with the idea of creating video memorabilia that would last a lifetime (or at least long enough to embarrass his daughter on her wedding day) Barry developed an enthusiasm for digital video editing. As Barry puts it, “Although many people own a digital video camera, I'm the only person I know who actually edits and burns home movies onto a DVD.” August 21st - Windows Education Class 6:30 - 7:30 PM Stay tuned! Brian, the whiz kid, is working on a topic.

Patty MacDuff will be joining us again in June to continue the lively discussion that we enjoyed when she was our guest speaker in April. She plans on going over some basic steps in eBay; however, as we did in April, your questions will determine the direction we take this evening. If time permits, we will also cover eBay Groups, Reviews & Guides, the Auction Guild , and what to do with a transaction that goes wrong .
So don't be afraid to ask , if you have one or two eBay questions, please send them to patricialynn@earthlink.net and she will gladly cover those ‘gray' areas so that you can start buying and selling the eBay way!

Patty MacDuff has been an eBay buyer and seller since November 1998. She first learned of eBay when her brother told her about the new IPO and she decided against buying the stock. So, while not the shrewdest investor on the block, she has been successful in buying and selling on eBay for almost eight years. She has a feedback rating of over 600, has been a Power Seller, and has also worked as a Trading Assistant. Patty will go through some basic steps in eBay and her presentation will continue at the interest and comfort level of the group. She hopes to list a pair of shoes in eBay that evening (to give the group a familiarity with the selling process—as well as some hints for successful selling). She will also talk about eBay Groups, Reviews & Guides, the Auction Guild, and what to do with a transaction that goes wrong . If you have specific eBay questions, please send them to patricialynn@earthlink.net and she will gladly address them that evening.
